PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device in which an object lens is fastened to a lens holder excellently and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: An object lens 40 provided in an optical pickup device, includes a lens part 42, and a flange part 44 continued integrally with the periphery of the lens part 42. For a side face of the flange part 44, a projection part 52 projects sidewards from the side face of the flange part 44, and an edge of the projection part 52 is disposed inside an outer peripheral edge part of the flange part 44. Thus, the effect of fitting the projection part 52 to fastening material is obtained. |
