PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether a reflected wave component is a composite wave component at a high speed with high precision.SOLUTION: A two-frequency CW type radar device generates first/second beat signals including reflected wave components of a radar wave based upon transmission signals of first/second frequencies for each antenna element, and subjects them to Fourier transformation (S120). Further, the two-frequency CW type radar device detects a peak frequency fas a frequency of a reflected wave component from a power spectrum average of the beat signals (S130), and calculates a second characteristic value λ2 of a correlation matrix Ry=(1/2) [y1,y2][y1,y2]based upon first reception vector y1/second reception vector y2 which are Fourier transformed values of the first/second beat signals corresponding to antenna elements respectively and include a Fourier-transformed value at the peak frequency fas an element (S180). Then the two-frequency CW type radar device determines whether a reflected wave component corresponding to the peak frequency fis a composite wave component of reflected waves from a plurality of targets on the basis of whether the second characteristic value λ2 is large or small. |
