PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobility network adapted to handle communications in a highly mobile environment.SOLUTION: A system (100) capable of performing network address changes comprises a mobile device (120), a first host (110), and a mobile handler (130). The mobile handler (130) is configured to receive a change of address request including a second network address corresponding to a second network location of the mobile device (120) on a network (150) from the mobile device (120). The mobile handler (130) is configured to notify the first host (110) of the change of address request, and the notification includes the second network address. The first host (110) is adapted to receive the notification and to initiate a connection with the mobile device (120) at the second network address, and a communication path of the connection does not include the mobile handler (130). |
