PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for suppressing deterioration of image quality when an image forming apparatus of an electrophotographic type performs printing.SOLUTION: An image processor includes: change detection means which performs halftone processing on input image data, corrects halftone image data, outputs first image data, performs halftone processing with resolution higher than the former halftone processing on the input image data, outputs second image data, detects a change amount of a pixel value of the input image data and outputs it as change data including the change amount of the pixel value in each pixel; determining means for determining a mix ratio of the pixel by a value in response to the sum of an error of the pixel, which error detection means detects, and the change amount of the pixel value in the pixel, which the change detection means detects, on each pixel; and mixing means for generating output image data by mixing the pixel values of the first image data and the second image data in accordance with the mix ratio and generating output image data. When a value in response to the sum becomes larger, the mix ratio of the second image data becomes the same or larger. |
