PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical sheet capable of processing an uneven part against a light-incident end face of an optical sheet in a short period without producing chips.SOLUTION: When an uneven part 9 is formed on a light-incident end face 7a of a light guide plate 7, first, a transfer die 24 is heated while the light guide plate 7 is put on a stage 21. Further, a transfer surface 25a of a rigid body roll 25 of the transfer die 24 and the light-incident end face 7a of the light guide plate 7 are pressed to each other. The stage 21 is moved in a direction perpendicular to a pressure-applying direction to the transfer die 24 at this state, and a transfer uneven part 26 of the rigid body roll 25 is transferred to the light-incident end face 7a of the light guide plate 7 by rotating the rigid body roll 25. Then, the transfer die 24 and the light guide plate 7 are separated before thermoplastic resin forming the light guide plate 7 is completely filled up on the transfer surface 25a of the rigid body roll 25. Thus, the uneven part 9 having a flat face at the tip is formed on the light-incident end face 7a of the light guide plate 7. |
