PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle-ride type vehicle capable of eliminating need for dismounting a grip part irrespective of whether there is a carrier member.SOLUTION: In a saddle-ride type vehicle, a stay member 20L includes an outer part 36L situated beyond a seat 13 in an outward direction of a vehicle body and a recess 50L dented upward which is formed in a bottom 49L of the outer part 36L. The recess 50L is formed in the bottom 49L of the outer part 36L so that a pillion passenger can grasp the recess 50L after a carrier member 22 has been dismounted from the stay member 20L, that is, the recess 50L becomes the grip part 51L. In any cases of present or absent the carrier member 22, the stay member 20L is left mounted to a seat rail 24L, so that dismounting of the grip part 51L is not required irrespective of presence or absence of the carrier member 22. |
