PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminous sign body which overcomes a problem of conventional luminous sheets and coated luminous materials arranged along the slip resistant steps of a stairway that the visibility is reduced due to damage easily caused by direct contact with sole treads and by cleaning work with a cleaner or brush.SOLUTION: A luminous sign body to be arranged along the longitudinal direction of a slip resistant step at a stair nosing comprises: a body with the bottom face to be arranged in contact with the a tread; a groove arranged at the top face of the body along the longitudinal direction; and a luminous material arranged in the groove, having the top face of the luminous material not being flush with the top face of the body. |
