PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a glass substrate, a device for producing a glass substrate, and an agitating device capable of evenly agitating molten glass by suppressing the deformation and breakage of an agitator used for agitating the molten glass.SOLUTION: Molten glass G is agitated by an agitator 102 arranged within an agitating tank 101 while being guided from an upper side to a lower side or the lower side to the upper side inside of the agitating tank 101. The agitator 102 has a rotating shaft 105 arranged along a vertical direction and agitating wings 106a to 106e fixed to an outer peripheral face of the rotating shaft 105 by being fitted around the rotating shaft 105 and arranged in a plurality stages from an uppermost stage to a lowermost stage along the rotating shaft 105. In the agitator 102, at least parts where the agitating wings 106a, to 106e are fitted around the rotating shaft 105 and the vicinity of the same are formed of reinforced platinum. |
