PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device capable of managing data transfer.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a radio communication device comprises a radio communication unit, a control unit, and a storage unit. The radio communication unit performs proximity radio communication or short-range radio communication with another radio communication device. The storage unit stores data and a setting parameter associated with the data, where the setting parameter includes the presence/absence of a lock function and transfer permission information. The control unit checks whether or not a user is an authorized user of the radio communication device, and activates the radio communication unit when the user is the authorized user. After the radio communication unit is activated, the control unit determines whether or not there is transfer permission on the basis of the transfer permission information in the setting parameter when the setting parameter includes the lock function. The control unit makes the radio communication unit transfer the data when it is determined that there is the transfer permission, and does not make the radio communication unit transfer the data when it is determined that there is not the transfer permission. |
