PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress abnormal sound generated when an air bypass valve is opened.SOLUTION: An air bypass valve 10 arranged in an air bypass passage 6 connecting an upstream side and a downstream side of a compressor 3 of a turbocharger includes a projection 14 protruding from a valve element 13 into the air bypass passage 6. The projection 14 functions as a partition to smooth a stream of supercharging air flowing in the air bypass passage 6 to suppress generation of abnormal sound. |
