<p>A temperature distribution is provided into an object (303) via an electromagnetic induction heating (300) using permanent magnet(s) (301) and rotating the object and the magnet(s) relatively in each other. Induced power is manipulated by changing the relative velocity (307) of the object and the magnetic field so that the portion to be heated in higher temperature interacts longer with said magnetic field than the corresponding portion to be heated in lower temperature. In addition the intensity of the induced power may be manipulated so that the portion to be heated in higher temperature is exposed to greater intensity of the induced power than the corresponding portion of the object to be heated in lower temperature.</p> |
