<p>An edge-lighting backlight module comprises a back plate (2), a light guide plate (4, 4') and a backlight source (6) arranged in the back plate (2), and an optical coupling device (8, 8') arranged between the light guide plate (4, 4') and the backlight source (6). The light rays emitted by the backlight source (6) are combined by the optical coupling device (8, 8') and then enter the light guide plate (4, 4') to improve the illumination uniformity at the end of the light guide plate (4, 4') which is close to the backlight source (6). For the edge-lighting backlight module, through the adoption of the optical coupling device (8, 8') arranged between a light incidence surface (42) of the light guide plate (4, 4') and LED lamps (64) of the backlight source (6), the light rays emitted by the backlight source (6) can enter the light guide plate (4, 4') uniformly, so that the illumination intensity of the light guide plate (4, 4') is uniform, the problem of the hot spot mura at the end of the light guide plate (4, 4') which is close to the backlight source (6), in the prior art is effectively solved, frames can be narrowed, and the quality of the backlight module is improved.</p> |
