PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer capable of performing printing continuously even while ink cartridges are replaced.SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 10 includes: an ink cartridge 12 that stores ink; a sub tank 14 into which the ink is supplied from the ink cartridge 12; an inkjet head 16 into which the ink is supplied from the sub tank 14; a liquid surface detection sensor that detects a water head difference H between a nozzle surface 16N in the inkjet head 16 and an ink liquid surface 14S in the sub tank 14; a displacement mechanism 20 that displaces the height of the ink liquid surface 14S in the sub tank 14; and a control part 22 that controls the displacement mechanism 20 to maintain the water head difference H within a setting range based on a detection result of the liquid surface detection sensor. |
