PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a TS clock, which indicates the timing of TS data when a TS included in an RF signal is output serially, and harmonics of the TS clock from becoming noise on the RF signal and from degrading the reception performance of a reception system that receives the RF signal.SOLUTION: A selection unit selects and outputs a clock to be employed as a TS clock, which indicates the timing of TS data, from among a plurality of clocks having frequencies equal to or higher than a serial rate, which is the data rate in cases where a TS included in an RF signal is output serially. This technique is applicable, e.g., to a reception system that receives RF signals, and the like. |
