PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic driving device of a work machine, which can achieve energy saving by suppressing pressure loss low, and can achieve highly accurate speed control not affected by fluctuation in load pressure.SOLUTION: A hydraulic driving device of a work machine includes: a pump control means for controlling a discharge flow rate of a hydraulic pump 10 so that differential pressure between a discharge pressure of the hydraulic pump 10 and, for example, load pressure of an arm cylinder 8 which is maximum load pressure can be equal to predetermined target differential pressure; a pressure control means for controlling the supply pressure and the return pressure of the arm cylinder 8 and a boom cylinder 7 to be equal pressure; a controller 40 for performing various calculation processes; and a meter-in/meter-out control means for cooperatively controlling the flow rate of the meter-in side of the arm cylinder 8 which is, for example, maximum load pressure and the flow rate of the meter-out side according to a ratio between a pressure receiving area of a bottom chamber 8a, and a pressure receiving area of a rod chamber 8b of the arm cylinder 8. |
