PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting apparatus capable obtaining a three-dimensional shape of a component at a high speed using a phase shift method to use the data for component mounting operation while maintaining measurement accuracy (resolution).SOLUTION: The component mounting apparatus includes: an imaging unit 101 having an area image sensor 111 including a line 112 of imaging pixels disposed being arranged in a line; a moving unit 102 that moves a component 200 in a first direction with respect to the imaging unit 101; a laser light radiating unit 103 that irradiates, at an angle with respect to the first direction, a periodic light B which is a beam of light having a brightness distribution in which the brightness is the same along a second direction crossing the first direction and the brightness changes periodically according to the position in the first direction; and an image obtaining part that, defining that main synchronous image divided into three or more divisions in the first direction corresponding to a portion of a component 200 illuminated by one periodic light B (wavelength L, a length of one wavelength) as, for example, first synchronous image 151-fourth synchronous image 154 respectively, obtains images of the first synchronous image 151-the fourth synchronous image 154 which are taken at a time on the corresponding plural lines 112. |
