PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio/video control system capable of transmitting/receiving a large amount of information between an AV system and a portable terminal device (controller).SOLUTION: A portable terminal device searches a network and acquires network compatible apparatus information including network addresses of apparatuses on the network and unique identification information. Interface connection apparatus information including at least the unique identification information on multiple audio/video apparatuses is acquired from a core apparatus. Network addresses of the multiple audio/video apparatuses are found out by associating the network compatible apparatus information with the interface connection apparatus information. Respective audio/video apparatuses are controlled by directly accessing each of the multiple audio/video apparatuses through the network by using the network addresses that have been found out. |
