PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition having a high repulsion elastic modulus measured by an evaluation method of a repulsion elastic modulus which has excellent measurement accuracy and can sufficiently evaluate a difference in performance between samples, and to provide a golf ball using the rubber composition.SOLUTION: A base material rubber, a co-crosslinking agent, and a crosslinking initiator are selected and compounded such that a rubber composition has a gyration radius R≤5.0 nm, which is obtained by performing curve fitting with a specific expression to a scattering intensity curve Iobtained by X-ray scattering measurement or neutron beam scattering measurement. |
