PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost network system capable of supporting a long-range non-powered outlet section.SOLUTION: A network system includes: a power supply switching hub 2 having a plurality of ports that can supply power by the POE; a plurality of power reception switching hubs 3 serially disposed between the power supply switching hub 2 and equipment 4b as a communication object with twisted-pair wire cables 7 as transmission media, and configured to operate by receiving the power supplied from the power supply switching hub 2 by the POE; and cables 8 for power supply for connecting the power reception switching hubs 3 other than the uppermost power reception switching hub 3 directly connected to the power supply switching hub 2 to the power supply switching hub 2, and for supplying power from the power supply switching hub 2 by the POE. |
