PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a white heat-shrinkable polyester film which has very excellent perforation unsealing properties and light-beam cutting properties, and is hardly broken in a length during processing such as printing, and to provide a label which is formed of such a white heat-shrinkable film and is satisfactorily tearable.SOLUTION: There is provided a label that uses, as a base, a white heat-shrinkable film which thermally shrinks in a film width direction as a main shrinkage direction, wherein the white heat shrinkable film is manufactured through specific processes, and a ring-shaped body formed by cutting the white heat shrinkable film according to an object to be packaged and bonding both film-width-directional ends together covers at least part of an outer periphery of the object to be packaged by thermally shrinking. The label has a cavity of 70 or higher in whiteness, and is 90 to 300 N/mm in angle tear strength in a direction (film length direction) orthogonal to the main shrinkage direction and 50 to 250 MPa in tensile fracture strength in the direction (film length direction) orthogonal to the main shrinkage direction. |
