PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake manifold without the risk of inadvertent loosening of an EGR block fastening bolt in detaching work.SOLUTION: In a state with an intake manifold 10 mounted, an EGR side fastening flange 33 below the intake manifold 10 covers the right one of two nuts 52 for fastening an EGR block 7. As shown in Figs.5 and 6, a shield plate 37 covers a part (right half) of the left one of the two nuts 52. Thus, at the time a maintenance worker detaches the intake manifold 10, a fastening tool (socket of a socket wrench, and the like) is inaccessible with the nuts 52 to eliminate the risk of inadvertent detachment of the EGR block 7. |
