PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branching device of a multi-lane conveyance container which can prevent disorder of aligned conveyance containers, damage to the conveyance containers and falling of the conveyance containers.SOLUTION: A branching device includes: a conveyance conveyer 11 which conveys a container B; a swing guide 5 which swings around a shaft 5P provided at a conveyance guide 12GR of the conveyance conveyer 11 and which distributes a container group of the container B being conveyed into either a lane 11T1 or 11T2 by conveyance direction sorting; a pressing guide 7 which is provided at the conveyance guide 12GL facing the swing guide 5, and which moves between a return position which is a retreated position outside a conveyance area and a predetermined pressing position located in the conveyance area; and a control device 9 which controls conveyance by the conveyance conveyer 11, swing of the swing guide 5, and pressing of the pressing guide 7. |
