PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a feeling when catching ball does not change easily even when used for a long period of time.SOLUTION: A catcher's mitt includes a mitt body 1 in which a palm side outer skin forming member 3 and a back side outer skin forming member 4 are connected integrally at the front and the back, and a web 2 for catching a ball is attached in the state of closing a recessed notched part 1a between a thumb insertion position 6 and a pointing finger insertion position 7 in the mitt body 1. The back side outer skin forming member 4 includes a planar member 11 whose outer shape has a shape along the outer circumferential edge part of the palm side outer skin forming member 3, and a backing member 12 sewn to the back surface side of the planar member 11, for forming a hand insertion space S with the planar member 11. At the planar member 11, a reinforcing surface member 13 for reinforcing the side of the recessed notched part 1a is put along and disposed and the outer circumferential edge part is sewn. The reinforcing surface member 13 is sewn in the state in which a part of a sewing line L2 thereof enters between the thumb insertion position 6 and the pointing finger insertion position 7 that are adjacent, exceeding a sewing line L1 of the planar member 11 and the backing member 12. |
