PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image communication device and an image communication system capable of prolonging device life and obtaining power saving effect by excluding excess warm-up operation without requiring the excess warm-up operation even when an environment value outside the device is not within a standard environment value range.SOLUTION: An image communication system includes an image communication device which has a facsimile control unit for controlling a facsimile communication function and prints an image based on received image data. The image communication device comprises: an environment monitoring unit for monitoring change in environment outside the device by detecting a temperature value and humidity value outside the device; a circuit control unit for switching a form of receiving the image data to a memory reception, when the change in the environment outside the device is confirmed; a printing possibility determination unit which inquires of an external device whether to be capable of printing an image based on the received image data or not in a state of the memory reception, and determines an external device capable of performing printing; and an image data transfer unit for transferring the image data to the external device capable of performing printing. |
