PURPOSE: A heat pump system for a vehicle is provided to obtain space for a small engine room in the vehicle by enabling a compact heat pump system and by simplifying a refrigerant line. CONSTITUTION: A heat pump system for a vehicle comprises a refrigerant circulation line(R), a bypass line(R1), a branch line(R2), and a composite valve device(300). The composite valve device comprises an expansion valve unit and an opening or closing valve unit. The expansion valve unit expands the refrigerant flowing in the refrigerant circulation line.
