PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot and cold water mixing faucet device in which breakage of a body cover or peeling-off of a metal plating can be prevented even when the body cover is formed of a material having a relatively low strength such as a synthetic resin.SOLUTION: An inventive hot and cold water mixing faucet device includes a substantially cylindrical hot and cold water mixing faucet body and a body cover. An engaging protrusion is provided in one of the hot and cold water mixing faucet body and the body cover, and an axial direction guide part for guiding the movement of the engaging protrusion in the axial direction of the hot and cold water mixing faucet body and a circumferential direction guide part for guiding the movement from the axial direction guide part to a circumferential direction are provided in the other of the hot and cold water mixing faucet body and the body cover. The body cover is engaged with the hot and cold water mixing faucet body by inserting the engaging protrusion into a lower part of the circumferential direction guide part after the engaging protrusion is moved along the axial direction guide part in the axial direction of the hot and cold water mixing faucet body. |
