PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a valve gear while allowing a manufacturing error in heights of a pair of valves, the valve gear having no rocker shaft for supporting a rocker arm.SOLUTION: A valve gear 1 includes a rocker arm 11 for operating valves 61, 62 by rotational force of a cam 5. The rocker arm 11 includes: a rocker arm body 3 that receives the force from the cam 5 and is supported at the opposite side to the cam by a valve clearance adjusting tool 7; and a valve bridge 4 supported by the pair of valves 61, 62 at the opposite side to the cam. The rocker arm 11 is supported at the opposite side to the cam by three portions, which are the pair of valves and the valve clearance adjusting tool, while a part or the whole of the rocker arm is allowed to tilt by an inclination of a virtual line connecting the respective top end positions of the pair of valves 61, 62 supporting the rocker arm 11 with respect to an axial direction of the cam. |
