PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jelly-like food for babies, which can easily be scooped up with an eating tool by a baby and can easily be carried into the mouse of the baby without spilling.SOLUTION: A jelly-like food for babies having a Brix of 10-30% and pH of 2.5-4.0 contains a thickener and calcium, has a lyotropic degree of not more than 3.0 mass%, having a stress integral value of 120-300 g.sec, when a plunger is downward moved into the jelly-like food for the babies having a thickness of 20 mm at a temperature of 25°C at a lowering speed of 1 mm/sec in a length of 5 mm with a texture analyzer having the plunger with a diameter of 20 mm to give a load to the jelly-like food, and having an adhesive property of 10-20 g.sec, when the plunger is separated from the jelly for babies at a rising speed of 1 mm/sec. |
