PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulated wire capable of securing a terminal bonding force of 60 N or more and having a conductor sectional area of about 0.22 mm.SOLUTION: A method for producing an insulated wire 1 includes: a first step of thinning a copper alloy containing 0.30 wt.% or more and 0.39 wt.% or less of tin and inevitable impurities to a wire having a diameter of 0.21±0.008 mm; a second step of tempering the thin wire obtained through the first step to have a tensile strength of 300 MPa or more and 400 MPA or less by annealing; and a third step of twisting seven thin wires having undergone the second step at a twisting pitch of 15±6 mm. |
