PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing a covering material from expanding and an expanding preventing covering material capable of surely preventing uneven pressure increase of the surface of a concrete.SOLUTION: A humidity permeable water blocking layer 5 is formed by applying a permeable water repellent material on the surface of a concrete 1 and a concrete covering material 3 is applied or laid on the water blocking layer 5. It is preferable that the permeable water repellent material is a silane base, siloxane base, or silane-siloxane base water repellent material. It is further preferable that an effective component of the permeable water repellent material is alkylalkoxysilane and/or organosiloxane. |
