PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current and voltage nonlinear resistor excellent in a nonlinear resistance characteristic, an energy tolerance characteristic and thermal stability at high temperature.SOLUTION: A current and voltage nonlinear resistor 10 of an embodiment includes a sintered body 20 of a mixture containing zinc oxide as a main component, and at least bismuth, antimony, manganese, cobalt, nickel, and aluminum as accessory components. The mixture contains zinc oxide of ≥98 mol%, and BiOof 0.1-0.5 mol%, SbOof 0.4-0.9 mol% by converting bismuth and antimony into BiO, SbO, respectively. |
