PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake manifold to enable effective absorbtion of shock at collision of the automobile.SOLUTION: In a second divided body 22 of an intake manifold 10, a pipe wall of an intake introduction pipe 11 and a pipe wall of a fourth branch pipe 16 are formed integrally with a common wall 31. A boundary flange 33 is provided at a boundary part of a throttle valve 8 side part in the fourth branch pipe 16 and the common wall 31 while extending toward the radial direction outer side in a state covering a part of the right sidewall of the fourth branch pipe 16. The boundary flange 33 is provide with as a vulnerable part an arc-like slit 35 on the inside along the inner circumference of the intake introduction pipe 11. Also a plurality of straight slits 36 are provided continuously from the outer circumferential surface to the right side surface along the axial direction of the intake introduction pipe 11. |
