PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film which hardly causes yellowing, has high quality and is useful for optical filter, liquid crystal film, electronic material, packaging film, graphic material, plate-making film, OHP film and the like.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a polyester film, wherein at least one polyester layer among the layers composing the film contains regenerated raw material of the polyester film having a coated layer. In the method for manufacturing the polyester film, the polyester film is formed by using a recycled pellet prepared by grinding the polyester film having the coated layer and directly adding a phosphorus type antioxidant having a heat weight reduction starting temperature of 290°C or more to the ground polyester film, and melted and extruded as a raw material of the polyester layer, or by directly adding the phosphorus type antioxidant of a heat weight reduction starting temperature of 290°C or more and melting and extruding the ground polyester film having the coated layer. |
