PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a trouble when a logo image used for stamp processing is previously stored.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an image forming section 4 for forming an image; a logo image storage section 33 for storing a logo image being an image showing a logo; a logo stamp processing section 17 for performing processing to superimpose the logo image stored in the logo image storage section 33 on the image of a formation object by the image forming section 4; a self-station name storage section 31 for storing a self-station name being a name of a self-station used for facsimile communication; a retrieval execution section 11 for requesting retrieval of a home page where the self-station name stored in the self-station name storage section 31 is inserted from a prescribed designation server and receiving a retrieval result list; a logo image acquisition section 12 for acquiring the logo image from the images inserted in the home page included in the retrieval result list; and a logo image storage control section 16 for storing the logo image acquired by the logo image acquisition section 12 in the logo image storage section 33.
