PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a procedure of an operation executed by a user to be checked from a portable terminal device.SOLUTION: An operation-information control unit 33 determines whether or not operation information instructing an operation difficult to carry out while referring to a display unit 32 such as an operation to a mechanism at a rear side of an image forming apparatus 10 or at the inside of the image forming apparatus 10 while opening a front door is contained in operation information as information related to a procedure of an operation for solving failure of the image forming apparatus 10 when the failure occurs. The operation-information control unit 33 transmits image data for displaying the operation information to a portable terminal device 20 through a radio communication unit 34 when it is determined that the operation information instructing the operation difficult to carry out while referring to the display unit 32 is contained.
