PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging element for converting an optical image taken in via a lens into an electric signal; and a shutter having a blade member opened/closed during photographing. Shading caused by a motion of the shutter is corrected with an elliptical shape as a reference. The blade member is opened/closed in a direction inclined to the respective sides of an image formed by the imaging element. The elliptical shape is inclined to a direction corresponding to a motion direction of the blade member. Thus, the motion direction of the blade member in the shutter, which changes a mode of a difference in a light volume in respective regions of the image, is considered, and the shading is corrected with the elliptical shape as the reference. Thus, image quality can be improved. |
