PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form atomized mist while expanding a spray angle so that fuel does not collide with a fuel chamber wall in a cylinder injection type fuel injection valve in which fuel is directly injected into a fuel chamber.SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve 10 swirls fuel on the upstream side of an injection orifice 37, and flows the fuel retaining swirl flow into the injection orifice 37 and injects the fuel. The injection orifice 37 includes an inlet 371 having a constant hole diameter and an outlet 372 having a hole diameter expanding toward the outlet. Fuel injected from a fuel injection valve 10 is mixed with bubble generated in the inlet 371 and is dissipated on a wall surface of the outlet 372. Accordingly, atomized mist having a wider spray angle is formed. |
