The present invention provides a black solar battery rear face protection sheet with which absorption of light of solar rays in near infrared and infrared regions is alleviated. The present invention, specifically, is a solar battery rear face protection sheet which is positioned in the rear face side of a solar battery cell, wherein: (1) the solar battery rear face protection sheet is formed from a stack of two or more layers; (2) the layer among the layers which configure the stack is the nearest to the rear face of the solar battery cell is black which includes two or more types of organic pigments and has an average reflectivity of 15% or less in the 380-780nm wavelength range; and (3) the solar battery rear face protection sheet has an average reflectivity of 30% or more in the 780-2000nm wavelength range.
