PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water damage evacuation room that enables safe and secure evacuation for several hours without long-distance movement if a water disaster such as tsunamis, flood tides and floods occurs.SOLUTION: There is provided a water damage evacuation room 2 installed in the ground, the water damage evacuation room comprising an evacuation room 20 including an outer wall 28, an inner wall 32 fixed to the outer wall 28, and a floor part 16 and a ceiling 34 which can be elevated, an underfloor space 18, a float 30 which floats on water reserved in the underfloor space 18 to float the floor part 16, an entry staircase 6 reaching the evacuation room 20 from on the ground, an opening part linking the entry staircase 6 and evacuation space 20 to each other, and a hatch 26 for escaping onto the ground. When water flows in the water damage evacuation room 2, the water enters the underfloor space 18, an upper surface of the floor part 16 moves up to the height of an upper end of the opening 14 through the float 30, and an air space is secured by the floor part 16, inner wall 32 and ceiling 34 having moved up. |
