An ignition starter of fire extinguishing device comprises a protection case, an igniter and ignition wires. Said igniter is set inside the protection case. Exhaust holes are formed on the bottom surface of said protection case. Grooves for leading wires are set on the sidewall of said protection case. Said ignition wires can be led out from the exhaust holes on the bottom surface of the protection case or the holes for leading wires on the sidewall of the protection case. Said ignition starter is set inside the powder column which is coated by heat resistant silicone. The diameter of the protection case is matched with that of the powder column. Said ignition starter can protect the igniter as well as provide a combustion space to the igniter. It is conducive to the startup of the igniter and stable combustion. Furthermore, since the structure of the ignition starter is simplified, the ignition starter can be assembled conveniently. The ignition starter is good economy and suitable for mass production.
