PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colorant dispersant for color filter which can form a colored layer with excellent dispersibility and dispersion stability, high luminance, high contrast, and excellent heat resistance.SOLUTION: A colorant dispersant for color filter contains a colorant represented by general formula (I), a dispersant represented by general formula (II), and a solvent. The dispersant is a polymer where at least part of the nitrogen portion, and an acidic organic phosphorous compound form salt.
