PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a solid oxide fuel battery support member by which the occurrence of solid oxide fuel battery support member's warp and cracking can be reduced.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a solid oxide fuel battery support member comprises the steps of: preparing a first sheet including composite microparticles 22 each having an electron-conductive metal oxide and a first oxide ion conductive oxide 21 arranged around the metal oxide, and a first organic binder; preparing a second sheet including a second oxide ion conductive oxide and a second organic binder; putting the second sheet on the first sheet thereby to prepare a sheet laminate; and baking the sheet laminate at a temperature of 1000-1500°C.
