An ultrasound diagnostic device of an embodiment comprises a transceiver unit (11), an addition/subtraction unit (12a), and an image generation unit (14). In the same scan line of a photographic site of a subject whereto a contrast medium is applied, the transceiver unit (11) carries out a plurality of sets of ultrasound transmission and receiving of a first set in which a plurality of iterations of either ultrasound transmissions with the amplitude modulated or ultrasound transmissions with both the amplitude and phase modulated, and ultrasound transmission and receiving of a second set in which the phase modulation is different from that of the ultrasound transmission and receiving of the first set, and outputs reflected wave data of the plurality of sets. The addition/subtraction unit (12a) either adds or subtracts the reflected wave data of the plurality of sets. The image generation unit (14) generates contrast image data on the basis of data which is outputted from the addition/subtraction unit.
