PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strip material connecting tool capable of certainly connecting a strip material with high accuracy even in a narrow space by one worker.SOLUTION: A strip material connecting tool 1 is used in order to connect two strip materials 101 and 102 each of which is constituted of a strip-like member made of resin having ribs vertically provided thereto and the metal reinforcing materials embedded in the ribs and includes a first mounting part 10 mounted on the strip-like material 101 and provided with a first guide surface 10a perpendicular to the longitudinal direction thereof, a second mounting part 20 mounted on the strip-like body 102 and provided with a second guide surface 20a perpendicular to the longitudinal direction thereof, a locking unit 30 for locking the second mounting part 20 with the first mounting part 10 so as to coincide the positions of the reinforcing materials with each other by means of the strip-like material 101 and the strip-like material 102 in a state that the first guide and second guide surfaces 10a and 20a are brought into contact with each other, and a bonding unit 40 for bonding the first and second mounting parts 10 and 20 in a state that the first and second mounting parts 10 and 20 are bonded.
