PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage a computer for managing a computer system so that the computer detects an application that is incompatible with an application other than a software essential to system management, the computer system including a plurality of computers provided and operated in an organization, and a computer system management apparatus for the computers connected via a network.SOLUTION: A computer for management is so configured as to function as: means for checking a correspondence table so as to detect non-installment of a user side report program, the correspondence table showing whether or not the user side report program is installed in each computer, the user side report program reporting, when it is executed in each computer constituting a system, information of an application installed in an own computer to a management apparatus; means for storing an installed program reported from each computer; and means for collating information of an incompatible application database with an installed application so as to detect installment of an incompatible application, the incompatible application database storing information of an application incompatible with each of applications other than an application to be installed in each computer. |
