PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus and a decoding method that can improve coding efficiency.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus comprises: an input section for inputting coded data obtained by coding video data on the basis of a differential value between a weighting coefficient set corresponding to information of reference images and a prediction value of the weighting coefficient when a pixel value change between at least one reference image and an object image of a coding object is equal to a specific reference change or less; a decoding device that has means for deriving a reference value of the weighting coefficient when the pixel value change between at least one reference image and the object image of the coding object is equal to the specific reference change or less as the prediction value, means for adding a differential value obtained by decrypting the coded data and the prediction value and decoding the weighting coefficient and means for setting an index indicating the weighting coefficient decoded and the information of the reference images and decodes the coded data into the video data; and an output section for outputting the video data decoded. |
