PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly start reception processing or transmission processing by reducing the time required for communication resumption after power interruption processing.SOLUTION: An electronic device comprises: a power supply unit; a radio communication unit which executes connection establishment processing for establishing radio connection with an external device and executes reception processing and transmission processing in a connection establishment state where the radio connection with the external device is established; and a control unit for controlling the power supply unit and radio communication unit. The control unit determines whether or not a connection establishment maintenance condition is satisfied (the power supply unit is connected to an AC power supply line: step 33), when interruption of power supply is instructed by operating a power supply switch in the case that the radio communication unit is in the connection establishment state; and controls the power supply unit so as to maintain power supply to a first configuration element including the radio communication unit to maintain the connection establishment state and stop power supply to a second configuration element, which excludes the first configuration element and includes the control unit (step 34), when the connection establishment state maintenance condition is satisfied. |
