<p>This electrostatic painting apparatus is provided with: an air motor (3); a rotary atomizing head (4) disposed at the front side of the air motor (3) in such a manner as to be able to be rotated by the air motor (3); external electrodes (13) disposed around the rotary atomizing head (4); and a high voltage applying means (15) that applies a high voltage to the external electrodes (13), indirectly charging paint particles sprayed from the rotary atomizing head (4) with the high voltage. A cover made of film (17), obtained by forming a resin material into a film, is provided in order to cover the outer peripheral side of the air motor (3). The cover made of film (17) is constituted by a cylindrical rear cover (18) that covers the rear side from the external electrodes (13), and a cylindrical front cover (19) that covers the front side from the external electrodes (13) attached to the front side of the rear cover (18).</p> |
