<p>The feeding box has food portion that is formed by opposing two modules. The laterally through flaps are opened and closed at definable intervals by electrically operated shut-off device (23) provided in front of feeding box so that the herd animals access to the feed portion by head and neck through sized opening in opening interval, so as to consume the feed from the multi-day food supply in the feeding area during the opening times simultaneously.
