A cartridge storage container comprises a concave storage portion capable of storing a plurality of aligned cartridges, and the storage portion comprises: a separator for wells at one end, said separator separating wells at one end of the stored cartridges and restricting movement in the alignment direction on the side of the wells at the one end of the cartridges; and a separator for wells at the other end, said separator separating wells at the other end of the stored cartridges and restricting movement in the alignment direction on the side of the wells at the other end of the cartridges.
